Here's another NYC trivia question : What is the most populous bird in Central Park ? I would have never guessed it,if I didn't see the answer.
Winner gets an all expense paid,five day visit to Rockaway Beach.

pigeons should kick some grackle butt and rule the roost again. I thought pigeon was the city and state bird. Turns out the bluebird is the state one.

Paddy Blubirds were nearly extinct in NY for a time. They were really susceptible to the effects of DDT. They started to make a comeback in the 70's as I would see small flocks of them in my yard on LI
