NY Nosh Food Tour
Lower East Side

Travel through time to the Jewish Lower East Side of yesteryear, tasting traditional foods, learning about Kosher food practices, and discovering the history of the area. This is a walking-tour and samples will be eaten "on the go"...Kibitz while having a KNISH...Savor SMOKED OR PICKLED FISH (2 types)...Bite into a classic NYC HOT DOG...Nosh on HALVAH, a sesame seed confection...Nibble on MATZO hot out of the oven, when in production...Discover the difference between a BIALY and a BAGEL *Participate in a PICKLE tasting (3 types) Samples are Kosher-style. Food samples may contain wheat, dairy, eggs, beef, tree nuts, or peanuts.
