Lloyd Harbor Historical Society
The Lloyd Harbor Historical Society, founded 1974, is a non-profit, volunteer organization, dedicated to preserving the early history of the area. The main focus of the Society has been the restoration and preservation of the Henry Lloyd Manor House built 1711, the George W. Barn, and the surrounding gardens and grounds. The Society provides numerous educational opportunities including activities for all ages, as well as lectures and social events which celebrate the unique history of Long Island's North Shore.
