The Historical Society of the Massapequas

The Historical Society of the Massapequas works within the Massapequa Historic Complex to preserve the rich heritage of the Massapequas. The Massapequa Historic Complex stands at the heart of the Massapequas and contains three buildings of great historic significance: The Old Grace Church, the Delancey Floyd-Jones Free Library, and the Elbert Floyd-Jones Servants Cottage.

Select archival holdings have been digitized by New York Heritage Digital Collections, and can be viewed through the heritage website. The collection focuses on the history of the Massapequas from its founding up until the present day. It consists of photographs, slides, postcards, books, magazines, annuals, pamphlets and other miscellany: https://nyheritage.org/index.php/collections/historical-society-massapequas-collection
